The Amarillo International Film Festival has selected the “Clash at Cactus Cove” to compete in the short documentary category! We are honored to be accepted into the festival. Larry Pancake, USCRA official film director said, “This here movie is gonna ruffle some feathers and tickle some gizzards!”.
About USCRA "Clash at Cactus Cove" Movie Private Premiere
What?
We filmed the chicken roping we had in April known as the “Clash at Cactus Cove”. So naturally, we created a documentary of the event. We think it turned out wonderfully. Naturally the next step is to have a movie premiere, right? So, we did and it was a huge success. We rolled out the red carpet and our friends and fans dolled up. The rest is history.
Why?
The Red Carpet rolled out, we interviewed our guests and filmed the whole thing so we can do a movie of the movie premiere. Craig Vaughn, radio host did the interviews. Darci, editor of the movie filmed the action.

Friends, neighbors and fellow countrymen came and enjoyed the fellowship, networking, food, booze and oh yes… the MOVIE. Of course, our guest of honor was Red the Cock and his chicken tender, Jack. Wow! What a good-looking crew.

Absolutely! Chad & Pete provided excellent and appropriate entertainment for the evening. As well as our fancy slide show of pictures from the “Clash at Cactus Cove”. We really had a big time. The selfie wall was a great success with everyone jumping in for pictures. What a great party!
